Fibre Optic Patch Panels

SWA cable has a similar design to CSTA cable but it can be used to offer the best protection for fibre exposed to the elements or when used in direct burial application. The cable consists of an internal loose tube, within this tube there is a bundle of 250um fibres that either have a gel or water absorbent powder to protect the fibre against water ingress, there is a Kevlar yarn then a Steel Wire for extra protection and then a UV stable LSZH outer sheath.
