Pigtails consist of a length of 900um buffered fibre terminated at one end with a connector.
Fibre optic backbone cabling is quickly terminated with connectors or by splicing on pigtails. The spliced joint is normally contained within a patch panel, with the connector interface being presented at the front of the panel via fibre optic adapters.
Pigtails can be terminated with any style of connector to suit your application.
Each pigtail has a strain relief boot which helps to prolong the performance.
Pigtails are available in 50/125, 62.5/125, OM3 and 9/125 Singlemode. All standard 9/125 Singlemode pigtails are UPC (Ultra Polished Connector)
